If
transportation is a problem for you I can always get you at the train or bus station
in East Hampton or Montauk. Occasionally I travel back and forth to Manhattan
so if you need me to pick you up I can do that. I drive a full size Chevy Suburban
so bring as much equipment as you want.
For
you from out of the New York area, there are four airports that service the area:
La Guardia, Kennedy, Newark and McArthur airport on Long Island, the closest airport
to us.
If
you plan an extended stay on Long Island there are a number of great accommodations
to choose from all thru the East End. There are lots of things to do out here
for non fishing members of the family. There are wonderful beaches plus excellent
shopping and dining.
If
you are planning to come in season (Memorial Day thru Labor Day), reservations
are an absolute must. Remember this is also the playground of the rich and famous.
Sienfeld bought Billy Joel's house in East Hampton for a mere $35 Million last
March!
