September Thru
December: Montauk Blitzes for Stripers, Albies and Blues
Captain Jim Levison has been flyfishing for more
than twenty years. He has guided fly fishermen extensively in the amazing saltwater
fishery off Long Island's Montauk Point & Gardiners Island.
"Right
after Labor Day...a thousand-mile convoy of striped bass, blue fish, albacore,
anchovies, menhaden...begins to pass by Montauk Point on the way south. This yearly
march past the end of Long Island is among the largest wildlife migrations on
earth."
